Delivery Policy, Deadlines and Conditions
The athlete has three days to make payment via Multibanco references after submitting their registration. After this period, if payment is not completed, the registration will be cancelled and the athlete must register again for the same event.
If registration is submitted within eight days of the registration deadline, the payment period is reduced to 24 hours.
In the case of payment by credit card, registration will be recorded automatically upon confirmation by the VISA system.
Once registration is complete, the athlete will receive an email confirming their registration, which must be presented in order to collect the participation kit from the event’s registration desk.
This confirmation will be sent to participants up to five days before the event.
By registering, the athlete confirms that has consulted the event regulations, which are made available at the time of registration.
Payment Methods
An invoice for participation in Globalsport events will be issued, if requested with a valid tax identification number, immediately upon receipt of payment and sent to the recipient by email. If not requested, the invoice will be issued to the final consumer by default.
Payments may be made via Multibanco references or credit card.
Refund and Cancellation Policy
No refunds will be issued for cancellations of paid registrations.
Refunds will also not be granted in cases where athletes, for any reason, are unable to participate in the sporting events for which they have registered.
Specific terms may apply to each event in accordance with its regulations, which athletes are advised to consult in advance.

Personal Data
When we refer to personal data, we mean any information of any nature and regardless of its medium, including sound and image, relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.
An identifiable person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identification number or to one or more elements specific to their physical, physiological, mental, economic, cultural or social identity.
The entity responsible for collecting and processing personal data is GSX Portugal Unip. Lda, which provides the relevant services and, in this context, determines which data is collected, the means of processing, and the purposes for which it is used.
Within the scope of its activities, GLOBALSPORT collects and processes the personal data necessary for the provision of services and/or supply of products. This includes data such as name, address, telephone number, citizen card number, and email address.
Without prejudice to compliance with legal obligations concerning the retention and transmission of data for the purposes of investigation, detection and prosecution of serious crimes, GLOBALSPORT only processes traffic and location data to the extent necessary for client billing and interconnection payments.
Where prior consent has been given by the Client or User, which may be withdrawn at any time, GLOBALSPORT may process the relevant traffic and location data, but only to the extent and for the period necessary for the marketing of electronic communications services or the provision of value-added services.
Information about your location may also be recorded and transmitted to organisations with the legal authority to receive emergency calls, for the sole purpose of responding to such calls.
When and How We Collect Your Data
GLOBALSPORT collects your data by telephone, in writing, or through its websites, with your consent. As a rule, personal data is collected when the Client subscribes to one of our products or services.
Certain personal data is mandatory. Where such data is missing or insufficient, GLOBALSPORT may be unable to provide the requested product or service. In such cases, the Company will inform the Client of the mandatory nature of providing the relevant data.
If you are not a GLOBALSPORT Client, your data will only be processed if you voluntarily provide it to the Company, for example, by subscribing to receive newsletters, in which case the provisions of this Privacy Policy will apply.
The personal data collected is processed electronically and in strict compliance with data protection legislation. It is stored in specific databases created for this purpose, and under no circumstances will it be used for any purpose other than that for which consent was given by the data subject.
In general, the personal data collected is intended for the management of the contractual relationship, the provision of contracted services, the personalisation of services to suit the Client’s needs and interests, information and marketing activities, and the inclusion of the Client in subscriber lists.
However, you may also provide us with personal data for other purposes, such as submitting complaints and suggestions, receiving institutional information about the Company, or receiving details of campaigns, promotions, advertising and news related to GLOBALSPORT products.
How You Can Access, Rectify or Object to the Processing of Your Personal Data
In accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law, data subjects are guaranteed the right to access, update, rectify or delete their personal data. These rights may be exercised via the various contact channels made available by GLOBALSPORT.
How You Can Object to Receiving Marketing Communications
GLOBALSPORT may promote and publicise new products or services to its Clients via telephone, email, SMS, MMS or any other electronic communications service, unless the Client has objected at the time their data was collected.
If you do not wish to receive such communications, you may object at any time to the use of your data for marketing purposes, including for the sending of informational communications or inclusion in mailing lists or information services.
Disclosure of Data to Other Entities (Third Parties and Subcontractors)
Within the scope of its operations, GLOBALSPORT may engage third parties for the provision of certain services. In some cases, the delivery of these services may require access to Clients’ personal data. Where this is the case, GLOBALSPORT will implement appropriate measures to ensure that any entity granted access to such data is reputable and offers the highest standards of data protection. These obligations will be expressly set out and safeguarded in a written contract between GLOBALSPORT and the relevant third party(ies).
Thus, any entity subcontracted by GLOBALSPORT shall process the personal data of our Clients in the name and on behalf of GLOBALSPORT, with the obligation to adopt the necessary technical and organisational measures to protect such data against accidental or unlawful destruction, accidental loss, alteration, unauthorised disclosure or access, and any other form of unlawful processing.
In all cases, GLOBALSPORT remains responsible for the personal data that you provide to us.
Circumstances in Which We Transfer Your Personal Data
The provision of certain services by GLOBALSPORT may involve the transfer of your data outside of Portugal.
In such cases, GLOBALSPORT will strictly comply with the applicable legal requirements, particularly those relating to the adequacy of the destination country in terms of personal data protection and the conditions governing such transfers.
